Residential Education Center
Our Little Roses provides full-time residential care for abused, abandoned, and neglected girls in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, a country often marked by extreme poverty and violence. The girls we serve are infants, toddlers, young girls, and teenagers who come from overwhelming circumstances, including poverty, physical or sexual abuse, abandonment, and oppression, leaving them vulnerable, afraid, and without control over their lives.
For almost 40 years, Our Little Roses has rescued these girls from extreme risk and raised them in a safe, secure, and loving home where many receive, for the first time, a balanced diet, medical and dental care, spiritual formation, access to education, and a loving and nurturing home. Our vision is to prepare these once-frightened and marginalized girls to become compassionate, self-reliant, and respected members of society. With a strong emphasis on education, our girls gain the skills needed to break generational cycles of poverty, abuse, and illiteracy.
